dream; a dream so powerful that nothing and no one could stand in my
way. It's the journey of my pregnancy...of childbirth...of labor...and
of a midwife that assisted me in making my dreams come true. It's the
personal story of how I went within to my core and found my own inner
strength through obstacle after obstacle.

It's not just my story though. It's your story.

And so my goal in sharing my story with you is that you might see

not let the obstacles that appear on your path stand in the way of your

My dream is not everyone's dream, but the key is that no matter what
your dream is, not to let other people change your mind about the dream
and to stay focused and committed to your dream.

We all have our own reasons for the dreams we choose and we don't have
to justify why our dreams are our dreams. They just are.

Here's What Happened...
They Couldn't Even Find A Solid Heartbeat

I wanted to have a child, and not just to have a child, but like
thousands of mothers out there I wanted to have a natural child birth
if possible at home without a caesarean section...

I really had big plans for my birth, but along the way things went
terribly wrong... even to the point where I was told by the midwives
that they couldn't find a solid heart beat. I was completely terrified,
for days I was in pain, I was drained and that wasn't all... There was
more BAD NEWS - The baby was back to back with me - his head was facing
down, but his back with facing my back.

Implications: If your baby is lying with his back towards yours, his
position is described as being
posterior or 'occipito-posterior'. This position stops his head from
flexing normally and,
because the wide part of his head is trying to get through your
relatively narrow pelvis,
labor can be delayed.

Even if your baby has been lying in this position until labor starts,
his whole body will often turn round during labor so that he comes out
in a normal position. If his head does not turn round, getting him out
will be much harder work, and you are quite likely to need a forceps
delivery or even a caesarean section. **THIS IS IMPORTANT
BECAUSE I DIDN'T NEED EITHER.

This whole mental torture accompanied with physical pain lasted for
days and it almost broke me... actually it did at one point where I
gave up on my dreams just wanted to get it over with... Throughout I
was thinking of my child's life, what was best for him, how he should
come out safely into this world... I loved my baby so much it was
terrifying to find out these complications and how they could impact my
child.

However in my moment of weakness I was still able to overcome all
challenges, and I will show you how I gathered the strength to overcome
the greatest obstacles I was facing that almost made me give
up on my dreams of having a healthy baby, and even in a natural way
too.

I want to walk you through this process, because it is so important. I
discovered the most powerful secret to making life changing decisions
and following them through to the end. It is all about the 7 secrets

It is all translated inside my story... a story of a childbirth almost
gone wrong... There was no way for me to win, but against all odds I
did conquer... and only because I understood.

Not only did I believe in myself, I created my own "mind shift" which
made the impossible possible; and this is what I did:
* I put myself under pressure on purpose;
* I was uncomfortable for long periods of time and okay with it;
* I embraced the unknown no matter what happened;
* I dared myself to do something I had never done before;
* I held true to my dream despite the appearance of failure.

My Dream Came True -- So Will Yours

When you come against an obstacle that stands between you and your
dream, it's important not to give in and to create that "mind shift" I
am talking about; and the most important way you do that is by holding
true to your goal regardless of outer appearances (i.e., the obstacles
that are on your path). If you are committed to your goal, then you
will not give up and will instead come up with creative solutions or
re-solutions to move forward.

My dream came true, despite the negative beliefs from consultants that
I could not deliver my baby naturally. The unwavering belief from my
amazing midwife combined with the belief from my partner and from
myself created a shift and a miracle. It all begins with a belief!
